The Easter 2026 Update (also called the Easter Event 2026) launched in Grow a Garden on April 4, 2026 and runs until April 11, 2026 (Sat, Apr 4 1:00 PM – Sat, Apr 11 12:00 PM).
This is the second Easter event in the game’s history (after the 2025 version). It introduces:
- A brand-new exclusive Easter Garden plot
- New Chocolate Coins currency
- Dozens of Easter-themed seeds/plants
- New pets, gear, and cosmetics
- Returning mechanics like the Angry Plant (now Jim the Venus Flytrap) + brand-new Egg Hunts every 15 minutes
- A refreshed Season Pass with exclusive rewards
The event is limited-time — once it ends, many items (especially Easter-only crops) will no longer be obtainable.
How to Join the Easter Event
- Join the game and open your Plot Selector.
- Select the new “Easter 2026” plot (it appears as a separate option).
- You are now in the Easter Garden — this is where all new Easter seeds must be planted.
- Important: No pets are allowed in the Easter Garden.
- Easter crops (pink in inventory with an egg icon) cannot be planted in your main garden. Non-“Easter” named crops from packs can go in your main garden.
Core Event Mechanics & Currency
- Chocolate Coins (Choc Coins): The main event currency. Earn them by harvesting Easter crops and selling at the Easter Sell Stand (right side of the central island). Use them to buy seeds, Golden Eggs, and shop items.
- Easter Event Shop (left side of central island): Buy seeds, items, and more with Choc Coins / Robux / Trade Tokens.
- Golden Egg Shop (left sub-island): Buy Golden Eggs (base price 25,000 Choc Coins, price doubles with every purchase). These contain the new Easter pets.
Event Activities & Quests
- Jim the Venus Flytrap Quests (center island – this is the “Angry Plant”)
- Deliver 50 specific plants (certain size + sometimes mutations).
- Reward: 1 Easter Seed Pack + 1 Exotic Easter Seed Pack.
- After 50 deliveries the quests reset (repeatable). Exotic packs have better odds for rare/rainbow items.
- Egg Hunt (every 15 minutes)
- 10 hidden eggs spawn across the map.
- Collect all 10 → random reward (Choc Coins, cosmetics, Easter eggs, seeds, pets, gear, etc.).
- Season Pass (refreshed for Easter)
- Daily quests → progress through 50 levels.
- Rewards include new seeds, pets, cosmetics, and more.
- Free + Premium tracks + Season Pass Shop for extra unlocks.
New Easter Seeds (Easter Seed Pack)

Pro Tip: Plant common seeds (Candy Carrot / Chocolate Berry) first to build a steady Choc Coin loop before chasing Eggfruit.
New Easter Pets
New pets are obtained mainly from Golden Eggs. Confirmed pets and traits:
- Easter Bunny (Divine) – 1% from Golden Egg Trait: Egg Hunt – Occasionally hides an Easter Egg reward on the map (great for extra loot).
- Easter Egg Chick (Rare) – 35% from Golden Egg Appearance: Yellow chicken in blue/pink egg suit. Trait: Easter Eggcelerator – Speeds up egg hatching time (bonus with multiples).
- Other new pets: Firemite, Ash Raven, Hazehound, Cerberus, Chocolate Bunny, Marshmallow Lamb, Gummy Bear, Hootsie Roll (and more).

Fastest Event Strategy (Day 1–7 Guide)
- Switch to Easter Garden immediately.
- Plant the most common seeds from your first Easter Seed Packs (Candy Carrot → Chocolate Berry) to farm Choc Coins fast.
- Sell everything at the Easter Sell Stand → buy more packs / Golden Eggs.
- Complete Jim’s quests for free Exotic packs (these have better rainbow chances).
- Do every Egg Hunt (every 15 min) for bonus rewards.
- Once you have stable coin income, chase Eggfruit and high-rarity pets.
- Do NOT waste time chasing ultra-rares on day 1 — build economy first.
Advanced Tip: Use a second account + pets like Tanuki or Easter Bunny + Messenger Pigeon to apply infinite Choc mutation to your main garden for massive coin multipliers.
Extra Tips
- No new codes have been released with this update.
- Performance improvements were added — the game runs smoother during the event.
- The update also added new admin weathers and a DJ Jhai wedding event before launch.
- After April 11, the Easter Garden and Choc Coin economy will likely disappear, so grind now!
This update is considered one of the biggest in Grow a Garden history because of the dedicated Easter plot and repeatable coin loop.
